it was a local football team's biggest win ever -- followed by one of the best haka dances from the players . the liberty high school patriots beat the #1 team in texas friday night... and this is how our nevada boys celebrated their big win. "haka dance"

problem with its check-in system. the issue is causing long lines and delays at airports around the world. the company's official twitter account fielded lots of complaints from travelers at airports including atlanta, chicago and boston ...late on monday. some have shared pictures of hand-written boarding cards that british airlines issued while it works to fix the computer glitch. in more local news.. 2 people died in an apparent murder-suicide on monday. "it's shocking it's alarming that can happen, i mean it can happen anywhere, but you never think it's going to happen this close to home." it happened on the south side of the valley -- near anthem highlands and democracy -- just after 6 last night. police say the victims looked to be a couple in their late 30's or early 40's.. and the shootings seemed to be domestic related. no one else was in the home at the time. a woman has died after being hit by a car while crossing lake

last night. north las vegas police say the 47- year-old woman was crossing the street near civic center when she was hit by a motorcycle. the driver sustained minor injuries. it's still not clear if the woman was in a marked cross walk.. she died at the hospital. 6 horses in northern nevada have now tested positive for the west nile virus. the nevada department of agriculture's animal disease lab says they tested positive for the virus within the last 2 weeks. a state veteranarian says horse owners should vaccinate their animals to help fight the disease. if you're just waking up... you may be going to get some coffee.. but... if your normal cup of joe isn't strong enough after the long weekend.. you may want to try this insane recipe. starbucks lovers beware!! this is not your average cappuccino. an australian cafe is serving up coffee containing the caffeine equivalent of 80 cups. the drink is so

the storm will likely hit the u-s to our east.. but right now -- people in the resort city of cabo san lucas are preparing.. they're setting up sandbag barriers and protecting glass windows with plywood. mexican authorities also stepping in...creating as many as 37- thousand shelters in coastal cities. meantime... "hermine" continues to pound the east coast.. the storm made an appearance in southern new england.. bringing strong wind gus, rain to the area on monday. a tropical storm warning has been issued through midweek for areas along some of the coastal communities. a scrap yard caught fire in phoenix, arizona on monday.. and neighbors say the first thing they noticed after the thick smoke was the strong smell of burning rubber. unmarked purple heart about 8 years after being hurt in the korean war.. but says he could not officially claim the honor because it was not on his discharge papers. that all changed when representative joe heck's office tracked down the missing papers.. and presented sessler with the honor. olympic gold medalist and las vegas native -- connor fields -- is being honored today during a county commissioner meeting. "i think it is so awesome to see the support. even before i went. i had so much support from the city. it's just really cool to feel like they are all behind me. over the weekend.. ended in a hospital visit for a local family after their 6-year-old daughter broke her arm. the little girl's name is kai.. and lucky for her.. former u-f-c champ meisha tate came to the rescue. tate carried the little girl down the mountain.. telling her parents not to worry.. she "could actually use the extra weight in the work out." kai shared her appreciation in an adorable video..
